Terms
The terms you are agreeing to.
Last updated 22 October 2026.
1. Who we are
DayRota is provided by Nebula Enterprises Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 14722922), registered office The Generator Business Centre, 95 Miles Road, Mitcham, England, CR4 3FH. "We" and "us" below mean that company; "you" means the person or organisation using the service.
2. What the service is
DayRota is a web application for planning work against the hours people actually have: a board for what is next, a lane per person for today, and the arithmetic that says what fits. It is a planning tool. It does not perform the work, and it is not a rostering, payroll or accounting system.
3. Your space and your account
When you create a space you are its administrator, and you are responsible for who you let into it. Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think somebody else has it. People you add without a login cannot sign in; they still count as people in the space for the purpose of the plan's limit.
4. Plans, prices and VAT
- Free covers one space with up to three people, at no charge.
- Team is £5 per active person a month, or £4 a person a month paid yearly, with a minimum of three people. Team prices are quoted without VAT.
- Family is £6 a month for the household, or £60 a year. Family prices are the total a household pays.
We are not registered for VAT at the date above, so no VAT is added to any of these figures. If we register, business prices stay as quoted and the amount including VAT is shown beside them; we will not increase the amount a consumer pays without giving you at least 30 days' notice.
5. Paying, changing plan and cancelling
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose. You can cancel at any time: your space keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then continues on the free plan, with your data intact. If you reduce the number of people below a plan's minimum, the plan's minimum price still applies until the end of that period.
If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. If it is still unpaid seven days later the space becomes read-only until it is settled — we will not delete your work over a failed card.
6. Refunds and your right to change your mind
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you normally have 14 days from the day you subscribe to withdraw from this agreement. Because DayRota is a digital service you can use immediately, we ask you at checkout to agree to us starting straight away; where you do, the service you have already received is not refundable, but you can still cancel the rest of the period.
Separately, and whether or not you are a consumer: tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
7. Your content
What you put into DayRota stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people in your space, which is all we do with it. You can ask us for a copy at any time. Our software, design and documentation remain ours.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use DayRota to break the law, to store material you have no right to store, to attack or overload the service, or to get at another space's data. We may suspend a space that does, and will tell you why.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep DayRota available and we tell you when we are taking it down for maintenance. This is a small product run by a small team, so we do not promise an uptime percentage and there is no service-level agreement unless we have signed one with you separately. Features may change; we will not remove a feature you rely on without telling you first.
10. Liability
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, we are not liable for lost profit or lost business, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and £100. DayRota helps you plan; the decisions about who does what, and when, remain yours.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using DayRota at any time. We can end this agreement if you seriously break these terms, or by giving you 30 days' notice, in which case we refund any period you have paid for but not used.
12. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, this does not take away the protection of the law of the country you live in.
